The Walk Shop was proudly owned by the Kershaw family for 3 generations. In 2021 Julian Kershaw decided it was time to retire. The Walk Shop was like a child to him, and he thought long and hard about who would keep his legacy and vision alive. Julian thought of me, Helen Reid, his Dansko Representative. When he picked up the phone, that one call changed both of our lives forever.

I had always dreamed of having my own shoe store. As a part of the footwear industry for nearly 30 years, retail is in my blood and quality footwear is my passion. My husband Sam and I jumped at the opportunity.
