  CAREER OPPORTUNITIES AT

THE WALK SHOP

Our Company

This is an opportunity to work for one of the best independent shoe retailers in America. The Walk Shop is an industry leader, and at the cutting edge of the fashion-comfort revolution, presenting shoes that are both beautiful and comfortable.

We pioneered the first "walking concept" store in America, as well as importing, for the first time, many of the European comfort shoes so popular in the U.S. today.

We have been consistent innovators and work closely with our vendors, helping them to build shoes that combine the style and comfort that are the hallmark of what for which we stand.

We have a strong commitment to quality, craftsmanship, advanced technology, and superior customer service.

We offer ongoing education to our employees, in fitting skills, foot problems, and product knowledge. This empowers them to provide a level of expertise and professionalism seldom seen in today's service poor retail environment.

We are a family owned and operated business with three generations of experience. Since our founding in 1978, we have experienced steady and constant growth.

By consistently towering above industry performance standards, in all measures of productivity, efficiency, and innovation; The Walk Shop has won the admiration and respect of the entire shoe industry, and we are considered a model that others look to emulate.

Our Benefits :

We offer a supportive, friendly, professional environment, devoid of the politics and factionalism of a large corporate environment, and characterized by respect for the individual. We offer a supportive learning environment, with opportunity for personal growth, and involvement in all aspects of the business based upon the individual's personal talents.

Because of our focus on maintaining the long term happiness and productivity of our employees, our work week is only five days with no nights.
